DESCRIPTION: The City of Boston Back Streets Program supports the growth of Boston's industrial businesses through the preservation of industrial space. The City has adopted a policy goal of no net loss of industrial space and has provided services for industrial businesses.

The Washington Street corridor both north and south of the Forest Hills Station is the major industrial area in the Heart of the City that is impacted by these programs.
