DESCRIPTION:

Aging Concerns - Young and Old United (BAC-YOU) formed in 1973 in Back Bay to protect senior citizens from homelessness and displacement. The organization develops housing for these low-income seniors, including a 2003 development of more than 40 housing units in the neighborhood north of Talbot Avenue and Franklin Field in Dorchester. The development was built in partnership with the Home for Little Wanderers. BAC-YOU also built and opened the GrandFamilies House in Dorchester.
