The planning document for a 1,880-foot long, 12 ft wide, all-weather, handicap-accessible footpath between Forest Hills MBTA Station and the Arboretum's South Street gate through the Bussey Brook land parcel.

This actual project was completed around the end of 2001 and involved work from the Arboretum Park Conservancy, the Arnold Arboretum, the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Massachusetts Highway Department, and local neighborhood organizations.
